In response to the wondrous gifts that God has first given us: ourselves, our time, our families, and all of our possessions; we offer our worship and praise. Worship, even worship with a congregation, is a very personal expression of our adoration and respect for God.
Our Worship at St. John
Our worship style at St. John is varied. We offer traditional worship services using those printed in The Lutheran Hymnal (TLH), variations of these services, as well as Scripturally based contemporary formatted services.
We have many times available to worship every week and for your convenience, as listed below:
Thursday night Communion services weekly at 7:30 pm
Sunday morning worship services weekly at 8:00 am
AND
Sunday morning worship services weekly at 10:45 am
(We have a staffed Nursery available on Sunday at 9:30am for Bible Study and Late Service.)
Special monthly service:
The All Seated Service is on the first Saturday of the month at 2:00PM. There is a time of food and fellowship about 30 minutes before and again after the service. This service is specially designed for those who cannot or do not want to stand during the service. There is no standing or walking and communion is brought to your seat! This is a wonderful chance to worship for those who typically might not. Rides are available. For more information, please call the Church office at 414-481-0520.
